why Issaquah baseball club?
Select baseball, aligned with old-school priorities
support an american tradition.
The Issaquah Baseball Club is the only local select baseball organization that builds its schedule to complement Issaquah Little League, enriching a classic American tradition by keeping top players in Little League while affording them the opportunity to develop by participating in next-level, supplemental play. IBC allows for a solid commitment to both a Little League team and to a select team — no conflicts, which makes honoring a responsibility to show up easier for kids and for parents.
BE A WELL-ROUNDED ATHLETE
Issaquah Baseball Club is ideal for the multi-sport athlete, as the IBC schedule isn’t so demanding that other activities have to be cut. In fact, most boys involved in IBC play at least one other sport, including basketball, hockey and football.
Keep travel reasonable
You and your family won’t be criss-crossing the country for tournament play. All age groups participate in one to two tournaments per year that require hotel stays, but the trips are relatively close by. Past destinations include Yakima, Wenatchee and Vancouver, Wash. At the 12U level, the kids’ IBC experience will culminate in one fun, fantastic trip to play in a tournament in Arizona. That keeps travel special for the kids and doesn't break the bank for Mom and Dad.
Make Friends for life
Because children playing in IBC must live within the Issaquah School District boundary, they have the opportunity to develop friendships with the potential to last for years. They will get to know children in their classes, in their schools and from other schools in the district. This wide pool of connections will make the transition to middle school — and even high school — easier with more friendly faces in the halls.

Testimonials
“IBC is Little League-friendly and works with Issaquah Little League to maintain a symbiotic relationship. It’s this relationship that not only helps protect kids’ arm health but allows kids to play Little League while also competing at a higher level at non-conflicting times.”
“I believe in IBC baseball! Among the many outstanding attributes of IBC baseball is the Club’s insistence that players are — or become — good teammates. Baseball games are won on the field of play, but they can be lost in the dugout. When the IBC player taps his glove and runs back to the dugout, whatever the score, he always knows that he will be met by his friends and teammates. An IBC player will experience the positive force of camaraderie. He learns to trust his fellow teammates, he learns the value of dedication and accountability and striving to be a good teammate. Over time, he will see and know that camaraderie in the dugout makes the game of baseball more fun and rewarding. That’s the IBC way!”
“When we moved to Issaquah, we knew our boys wanted to play a more competitive level of baseball which led us to IBC. This club has been a great fit for our family, developing our kids’ knowledge and skill for the game as well as building their confidence. We love being a part of the community where we have made life-long friendships!”
“Over the past few years, we have seen the first wave of IBC players make and contribute to the Issaquah High School varsity baseball team. What a great organization for the development of future Issaquah High School baseball players. We are very proud to support their efforts to work with Issaquah Little League for the betterment of these young baseball players. Keep up the good work!”
